PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING NOTICE

1. Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data are processed by Humaneast Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Humaneast”, “humaneast.com”, “Company”, or “we”) as the data controller.

  • Providing customer support and after-sales services
  • Sending promotions, campaigns, and informational messages (if consented)
  • Ensuring website security, maintaining transaction logs, and performance monitoring
  • Conducting internal reporting, auditing, and operational planning

4. Legal Basis for Processing and Transfer

Your data are processed based on the following legal grounds:

5. Data Sharing and Recipients

Your personal data may be shared with the following parties for legitimate business purposes:

  • Courier companies (for delivery operations)
  • Payment service providers (such as Shopify Payments, iyzico, Stripe, etc.)
  • Public authorities when required by law

All data transfers are carried out in compliance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

  • To know the third parties to whom your data are transferred,
  • To request correction if your data are incomplete or inaccurate,
  • To request deletion or anonymization of your data,
  • To request compensation for any damages due to unlawful processing.

8. How to Submit a Request

You may submit your requests via e-mail to info@humaneast.com.
All requests will be responded to within 30 days, as per Article 13 of the KVKK.
In certain cases, identity verification may be required for security reasons.

9. Transfer of Data Abroad

As the Shopify infrastructure is based in Canada, limited data transfer abroad may occur.
Such transfers are conducted in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK, ensuring compliance with the “safe country” principles and subject to explicit consent.

10. Enforcement and Updates

This Notice entered into force on 31 October 2025.
Any updates will take effect immediately upon publication on humaneast.com.
